

Patrick Bayer is Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Glasgow and received his PhD in political science from the University of Mannheim in 2013. He was research fellow at Washington University in St Louis and at Columbia University prior to coming to Glasgow. His research focuses on central questions in international cooperation, the political economy of carbon markets, and environmental and energy politics and has been published, among others, in Science Advances, the Journal of Politics, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and Ecological Economics.
