Mingzhi (Jimmy) Xu is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of New Structural Economics (INSE) at Peking University. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California Davis. During 2018 and 2019, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a visiting researcher at Harvard Kennedy School. His research specialization includes international economics, industrial organization, and economic development.
