Andreas de Barros is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Education, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Economics. His research in the economics of education informs evidence-based policy in less-developed countries. Before joining UCI, he earned his PhD from Harvard University and was a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT.
