Maria Bas is a Professor of Economics at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne. She holds a PhD in Economics at EHESS and Paris School of Economics (PSE), with Highest Honors. She has been a Post-doctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics, Center for Economic Performance (CEP) and at Penn State University. She was a Research Fellow at Sciences Po from June 2013 till May 2014. Her research interest focus on international trade and economic development, micro-econometric studies using firm-level data, firm heterogeneity trade models, the impact of trade liberalization on firm performance.
