Dr. Bhusal is a Joint Secretary and former Chief Executive of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) of Nepal. His role was instrumental during the post-disaster reconstruction and recovery after the 2015 Gorkha earthquake. His vast experience of disaster financing, coordination with development partners, I/NGOs and government agencies is pivotal for disaster preparedness and post-disaster recovery planning and implementation in Nepal. He holds PhD in Green Economy Framework and has served at different government agencies of Nepal for almost 30 years.
