

Serafín Frache

Serafín Frache is an Associate Professor at the Universidad de Montevideo. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Queen Mary University of London and an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London. His research focuses on macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and numerical methods, with an emphasis on monetary and financial models, household behavior, and firm expectations. He previously served as a Senior Economist at the Central Bank of Uruguay and has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Central Bank of Uruguay.
