Elie Murard is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Trento. Prior to that, he has worked at the University of Alicante (Spain), at Stellenbosch University (South Africa), and at IZA (Germany). He received his PhD in economics from the Paris School of Economics in 2015.
He is particularly interested in International Migration and its effects on the origin and receiving countries. His research is featured in outlets like the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of Economic Geography, and World Development.
