Eric Hsu is a postdoctoral associate and lecturer at Yale University, affiliated with the MacMillan Center and the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). His research examines how government policies can influence the provision and take-up of productive technologies. He has on-going work examining how public procurement policies and other factors have affected the rollout of new infrastructure for mass electrification in Kenya. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
