Jianhuan Xu is a macroeconomist with a focus on productivity and growth. Much of his current work is on innovation and development in China, aimed at understanding the contributions of industrial policies to economic growth.
He received a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and a B.A. from Tsinghua University.
