Manuel Santos Silva is Assistant Professor of Economics of Latin America at the Freie Universität Berlin. Before, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Münster and the University of Göttingen. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Göttingen, where he also completed a master’s degree in Development Economics. His research focuses on gender and political economy, from an applied microeconomics perspective.
