Tianyi Wang is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His work focuses on political economy and economic history, examining how media and information technologies influence society and politics. He is also interested in health and labor economics in both historical and modern settings.
