Utsa is a final year PhD student in the Department of Economics of the Lancaster University Management School. Her research explores the intersection of labor economics and gender economics; concentrating on the impact of policy changes on gender disparities in employment opportunities and economic outcomes. Previously she was a visiting researcher with Administrative Data Research(ADR), Wales, in Cardiff University, and a student consultant with OXFAM, UK.
