María Inés Berniell is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor, and Social Studies (CEDLAS) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata and a Professor in the same university. Previously she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from CEMFI. Her research interests are primarily in Labor Economics and Development Economics.
