Mariana Marchionni is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor, and Social Studies (CEDLAS) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) in Argentina, and a Professor and the Director of the Master in Economics program at the same university. Additionally, she holds a researcher position at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina. Mariana earned her Ph.D. in Economics from UNLP and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of British Columbia, Canada. Her main research interests are in the areas of Gender Economics, Development Economics, and Economics of Education.
