Bharti Nandwani is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), a deemed university setup and funded by Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Her areas of interest include topics in economics of education, gender economics and political economy. She teaches Econometrics and Political Economy at IGIDR. Her research has been published in leading economics journals and her ongoing projects include understanding the impact of property inheritance rights legislation on female political participation in India, evaluating the impact of access to MFI loans and exposing young girls to female role models in the field of economics.
