Andrew Simon is an assistant professor of public policy and economics at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. He is a public finance economist whose research focuses on higher education finance, taxation, and employment policy. Simon received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan where he was an Institute for Education Sciences pre-doctoral fellow. Prior to joining UVA, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago and the Research School of Economics at the Australian National University.
