Enrique Aldaz-Carroll is a Senior Economist at the Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment Global Practice in the World Bank Group with more than fifteen years of experience working on low, middle, and high income countries. He led the World Bank team that supported the peace settlement talks in Cyprus under UN auspices and was posted in the Indonesia and Cambodia World Bank Country Offices. He has written papers on development strategy, macroeconomy, food prices, export competitiveness, regional trade integration, product standards and poverty. He holds a PhD in Economics (Institute of Development Studies, Sussex University, UK) and a Masters in Economics (London School of Economics, UK).
