Nina Brooks is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health at the Boston University School of Public Health, where she is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Human Capital Initiative at the BU Global Development Policy Center, the BU SPH Center for Climate and Health, and the BU Institute for Global Sustainability. Dr. Brooks' research seeks to document how climate change and air pollution threaten human health and well-being in the Global South and identify real-world, actionable climate mitigation and adaptation strategies. She holds a Ph.D. in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, an M.A. in Economics from Stanford University, a Master of Public Policy from Duke University, with a certificate in International Development, and a B.A. in International Political Economy from UC Berkeley.
