Shoeb Ahmed is a professor and current head of the department of Chemical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from BUET and earned his PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University, USA. He served as the Project Director of the Applied Bioengineering Research Incubator (ABRI) at BUET. His research aims to utilize engineering principles to address environmental and clinical challenges. He is the recipient of Prime Minister Gold Medal, UGC Gold Medal and Dr. Ali Karim Gold Medal for his academic and research excellence.
