Sameer Maithel is the Founder of Greentech Knowledge Solutions, based in New Delhi, India. His research focuses on the dissemination of clean technologies in small industries and the building sector across South Asia. Over the past three decades, his research has contributed to the adoption of cleaner technologies in thousands of brick kilns throughout the region. In recognition of this work, he received the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) Award in 2017. He holds a PhD in Energy Systems Engineering from IIT Bombay. Previously, he served as a Fellow and Director at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Co-Lead of the Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project, and Director at Greentech Knowledge Solutions.
